Most of the time we see an airplane as a whole. A closer look reveals a myriad of elements, which in turn can exert their own fascination. In the project 'Details', I try to visualise this fascination.

I am absolutely enthusiastic by the details on older aircrafts, such as those found in aircraft museums. Pima Air Museum in Tucson, Arizona, offers endless opportunities to capture the diverse history of these legendary aircrafts on display. Over years of constant exposure to the sun, the planes parked in the desert get their patina and, when viewed in detail, become actual works of art.
